Dr Robert Pringle is the Vice-Chair of WaikatoLink. Previously Dr Pringle was the CEO of Dexcel and its predecessor, Dairying Research Corporation for six years. Dr Pringle was also the foundation Chief Scientist of AgResearch.
Dr Magdalena BerezaSenior Scientist
Magdalena Bereza joined OBodies in January 2014 as Senior Scientist. She is responsible for the selection and biochemical characterisation of high affinity binders against a variety of targets.
She completed her PhD in biochemistry at Bio Pilot Plant department of Hans Knoell Institute (Jena, Germany), in cooperation with Max Planck Research Unit for Enzymology and Protein Folding. Her scope of research covered in vitro selections, microbial protein expression and structural characterisation of single chain antibody domains directed against beta amyloid proteins. She has experience with recombinant antibody technologies. She recently worked for a biotech company (Wacker) as Scientific Specialist in Process Development, and was responsible for design and implementation of downstream processing methods. She co-authored several peer-reviewed publications.
Grant oversees much of the financial, administrative and HR function of the company. As a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and a BMS graduate from the University of Waikato, Grant began his career in the tax department before moving in to Chartered Accountancy firms following completion of his OE. Through his years with large international accounting practices Grant has a very broad range of experience with a particular interest in transactional accounting services.
